ISO 9001 has become a model for quality assurance in the development, design, service, production and installation of a product or service of any company and sector. Its latest version was published in September 2015, with significant changes from previous editions.
ISO 9100
The series of Standards UNE-EN 9100: 2010, UNE-EN 9110: 2015 and UNE-EN 9120: 2011proporciona a specific approach to aerospace companies adding additional requirements to the UNE-EN ISO 9001 which aims at increasing quality, reliability and safety of aerospace products.
From the model defined in EN 9100, the IAQG and other national associations such as ASD and ATECMA established a certification mechanism with global recognition, which has been called ICOP scheme, Industry Controlled Other Party.
